緊急醫療響應人員(EMR)課程幫助學生在緊急醫療服務專業人員(EMS)到達之前為病人或傷者提供初步穩定治療，並協助EMS人員將病人運送到適當的醫院/設施進行最終治療。主要教學領域包括醫學術語導論和解剖學與生理學;應答器安全;事件命令;Bloodborne病原體培訓;基本物理評估;創傷和醫療緊急情況的處理;心肺複蘇和自動體外除顫器的使用。這門課程混合了授課、實際實驗/學習和基於實際場景的學習/測試。該課程將包括由國家認可機構(美國心髒協會、紅十字會等)頒發的醫療保健提供者CPR/AED認證。 If this course is also approved by the Georgia State Office of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma (SOEMST), successful completion will allow the student to be eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification. Topics include: Preparatory; Anatomy and Physiology; Medical Terminology; Pathophysiology; Life Span Development; Public Health; Pharmacology; Airway; Management; Respiration and Artificial Ventilation; Assessment; Medicine; Shock and Resuscitation; Trauma; Special Patient Populations; EMS Operations; and Integration of Patient Assessment and Management.
